what would happen if I used this light with 2 cr123's
will it work? what are this risks?

I would order an sst-50 module from nailbender. His p60 are designed to run between 3.6v and 6v. That's perfect for 2 cr123 primary cells. And his module is $65 shipped. Pretty much the same cost as the one at batteryjunction. Plus you get a few customization options with nailbender and top notch quality service. But I would definitely PM him or post to his thread with questions first before purchasing. Just to make sure his modules will run in your particular setup. I've purchased three modules from him already and they were all top stuff.

3.7-4.2V INPUT

2*CR123A is 6V. You'd fry the circuit board or the LED.
