Ultrafire Charger Light Colors

I have a WF-138 and a Wf-139 Ultrafire charger. The unit lights red when charging and green when completed. I have read posts to remove cells as soon as possible after green lights come on. Do these units continue to charge the cells even when the lights are green? If so, at full charge or at a reduced trickle charge? Seems like the charger should turn off when done charging.

My WF-139 doesn't charger any more after the green light. However, the WF-138 continues to throw a small trickle charge after the green light. That is, it did until I tried to fix it. Now it doesn't charge at all and is extremely safe.:devil:
