Ultrafire J1 + RCR2 = protected mode..

I picked up a pair of RCR2's for my ultrafire J1 (Black AW ones). I've noticed that once the voltage gets to about 3.2 volts, the battery will go into protected mode. Using a normal CR2 is fine though..

has anyone used RCR2's in the J1 ???
