UltraFire WF-505B with 18650 ?

hello all

i have a little 505B and it takea 2x cr123a..i have few ultrafire 18650 but they are too big to fit the tube..is this torch capable of running on 18650 ? can i get smaller sized 18650 ?
Ive got a little aspheric lens on it and its great fun.

According to the DX listing, the WF-505B can handle 3.6 - 9 volts, so you could run a 17670 cell in it.

If 18650 don't fit, 17670 should be all right.

I don't have the 505B but it seems the majority of the DX multi voltage lights are quite a bit dimmer on only 1 cell. Put one fully charged 16340 in if you have one, and jump a lead from the cell negative to the threads and see how it looks.

Or are you using a primary cr123? If that is the case I wouldn't hope for much.
