Ultrastinger 1160 bulb question

I just sat down to try and put an 1160 in the ultrastinger but noticed the
bulb prongs are twice as far apart, and much thicker than the stock one.

Seems some people here have tried this mod but,
will this work at all, do you bend the prongs together to insert it?

It works fine. And yes, you do need to bend the prongs slightly to fit. Be careful, you don't want to break the glass on the bulb.

Thanks, Don. That's the 1st thing I though, bend to much and crack.
Anyway, not going to try it. Gettin a new MC soon and using that, will sell
the 2 month old US for a few bucks, cause don't need 2 big lights.
