Using different 6P bezels

I have just recieved Malkoff M60 and what a blaster of a module. I need some advice though, my problem is that I would like to use my Solarforce bezel with the stainless crenalations but i can't get the light to work. It will work with an extra spring around the base of the M60 but will not screw down completely (1/8" gap). Any advice on how to fix this? Many thanks ahead. I have gotten some great info from this forum but have never needed help until now.

A well known, and easy remedied problem.
Fivemegas's bi-pin holders also have the same problem, and he sends shims with the holders when you order from him.

Thanks for the help fellow CPF'ers. I understood the copper ring was for the shock absorbing heads, I probably should have ordered one with my module. I solved my problem with the foil temporarily until I get a copper ring.
