I'm in Wangaratta, 230Km up the Hume from Melbourne.

I'm happy to head south to meet up.

Lets make the meet in about a month. I have a triple MC-E Maglite on the way and also a cystom MC-E EDC being made with about 4-500 lumens output. Should get both in a month?

Sounds like a plan... I have a couple of lights on the way as well.

Seymour is half way from Melbourne to Wangaratta, but for the folks in Dandenong it's a bit far.

Out of the city is better... we only want to see our light pollution!

Instead of having a the usual 2-3hr meet, lets have that overnight ROAD TRIP we were supposed to have when we wanted to meet in Ballarat earlier this year. I'm sure we can hire one of those ski cabin-style accommodation around Seymour... there should be heaps available!

I like the idea of the overnight road trip... Mt Hotham ey.... hmmm... Could be fun... any other ideas to throw into the mix? Could always do some kinda campout somewhere coming into the summer months; a (dark) random patch of land, campfire and plenty of torches = a good night out :twothumbs

I guess a camping trip could be done...

We would get to use our torches in the environment they were designed for. I always wanted to see what the deal was with warm tints and the outdoors...:duh2:

Post-Christmas would work better for me. The company I work for has just been bought out, and I need to keep the new boss happy, and I have a 4-week old Baby. Not the best time to nick off into the bush!

It's not going to be cool weather until at least April from now on in.

In that heat, a camping trip might be out of the equation.
