Man, I recently heard about this fellow, and it's a shame what happened to his family in Katrina, and that he subsequently hasn't made lights... I have a GID HDS bezel he made, very nice!

Good luck in your hunt,his creations are beutiful.Espesially the one you bought from me some time back.
I feel it is the most beutiful light he ever made.
Do you still have it?



Add some more pictures of the lights he made,maybe someone has one and doesent even know it
They are pretty easy to tell apart from other makers lights.

Is that a clicky light? What converter is it running, and what LED? (I wonder if Chop's lights are user-modifiable?).

Yes it is a kroll clicky switch..
It is a capsule inserted with a badboy and a 3W led (I think)..I don't remember but I can do some search about that

I haven't talked to him in couple of years and haven't been on the board in as bout as long.

Did his family in Slidell make it out OK? My brother lost his house and a couple of close friends did too.

Has he been on in a while?

MSaxatilus heard from Chop around January 9 this year. Said that, in effect, Chop with resurface soon. Chop has had problems, Katrina + maybe other problems, but will be good to go pretty soon.
