Wanted Malkoff knurled MD2 and MD3 Bodies

That sounds interesting. No tail cap? All one piece?
yep, the switch is rugged, it's just not a mcclicky its longer throw and the button protrudes past the tail so it won't tailstand but it has a super loud satisfying switch. after 16 years of use it still looks fantastic. I have the full host with the original M60 which is something of a collector item since they were handmade by Gene in the early days of 2008.

A pic or two would be great. I most certainly am interested. And a PM sent.

The one piece body has a Kroll clicky. I'm not sure McClicky's were even being made then. Same with the McCliesch (sp?) reflector the M61 has.
Pretty rare old LED light.

we should honestly ask Gene what the deal is and if he'll do us a HUGE HUGE solid although I suspect his market is way bigger than flashaholics

Still on the hunt for older knurled Malkoff MD2 and MD3 light bodies and tail caps.
Me too. I hope someone sees this as a potentially good side hustle and produces some bodies with proper/acceptable machining/knurling. 'holic or just just any professional user (I'm both), I'd bet there would be a lot of orders if some enterprising person decided to do it. Malkoff could step up to that plate, but that might require admitting that they 'got it wrong', and some people can't handle that...another 'flashlight guy' in CA comes to mind;-)

@knucklegary

You knew I was thinking of you when I wrote that, didn't you!!:)

Then again, you could have been referring to 5mega and his offerings of MD shorty copies.
I doubt he would consider making full size MD2-up bodies, however one never knows.
At times, wish I had access to a machine shop,,, then again (-;
