It's been a while since I've posted one of these, but here we go...

I have a lot of powerful flood lights, all warm tint and high CRI.

I want an equivalent thrower. Warm tint is a must, high CRI would be nice. I'm thinking a good 250-300m throw, more is always better, and 500+ lumens output.

I don't care what sort of batteries, and if the only option is custom, I'll take it.

Help, please?
 
I just saw a trunite catapult v1 modded with a warm 7B xm-l in the markedplace. Im sitting here trying to resist it, so better hurry :)
 
Xeno G42 T5 XM-L throws very well for it's size. There are also the Deft EDC LR+
 
The DEFT edc LR+ is the longest throwing warm tinted light I know of...and its pocket sized.
 
Thanks for the replies. I'm not a huge fan of aspherics, as good as the DEFT's are.

The G42 looks pretty good - meets pretty much every requirement I listed :)

Any other suggestions?

i got a high cri XP-G 3000k armytek predator. its throw is very impressive for its size. about the same as a 9P.
i havent used it much so i cannot comment on its durability. its more of a versatile light that covers areas that my other lights dont.
i had a catapult v1, modded with a warm tint XM-L, and the predator almost rivals it in terms of throw.
 
I have a Varapower Turbo v2 with a de-domed 4000K led. The tint is not warm, but defimitely neutral. If you want a warm tint you could ask Lambda to make you one with a 3000K 83 cri SST-90 when he does the next run. It would be noticeably ledd bright than the cool white ones, but it will still do way over 1000 otf lumens and over 50000 lux.
