I have 8 sanyos batteries in a 2D maglite. What is the best bulb I can get that will work efficiently?

Get a G4 Bi-pin holder from FM and order a WA1164 bipin lamp from litho123

 Assuming of course you have the proper bezel requirements you can skipp this part.
aluminum cammed MOP (Medium Orange Peel) reflector recommended for a lesser artifact beam with the focusing feature but if your looking for throw but still want a more even beam, go for LOP (Low orange peel) reflector.
Unfortunately I am unsure when FM may do the next run so I can't help you there.

if your still using the stock polycarbonate window, I'd suggest the
Borosilicate glass [Borofloat]
or the UCL
Borofloat windows have a more thermally resistant glass [won't shatter if water gets on it while its hot, I use it in my magmods so I can use it in the rain]
the UCL is more transparent and allows more light through...at a fractional higher price

for more results on this, look up mag64
Happy modding!
