My contract with Verizon is going to be up in a couple of months and I'm looking at the Storm. Would love to hear any comments from those who have it. (Currently using a Razr)

With the q, this site worked good, I hoping the omnia works better (charging.....) :D

Sony Ericsson K750i from Jan 2005- October 08
I loved this phone so much.. It took me forever to save up for it (I was 15 and it cost about >$400 shipped from overseas).. It can do anything phones today can like a 2 MP camera WITH focus and flash (unlike the iPhone:crackup:) as well as tons of other cool stuff.. I used to browse the internet all day and everyday with this phone.. I could go on and on all day about this phone.. It was awesome.. Too bad I slept on it once too many time and the screen got unpolarized (I assume that's what happened).. So it's still works, just have to fix the screen..

Blackberry Curve (~4 weeks)
I thought it would have cool stuff but I hated it.. the only thing it was good at was emailing.. The camera sucked, no flashlight(even though it had an LED flash), and no free third party stuff..

HTC G1 (December 08- Present)
Pretty cool.. Its kinda slow and I still miss my old K750i.. This makes up for it in some areas such as free apps and the cool touch screen.. It really needs a password protected area like the Blackberry and Sony Ericssons(simply amazing password protected vault thing) have. I need it so I can put in some private info like bank account numbers and such.. The camera quality is terrible and it cant take video.. there are a lot more shortcomings of this phone that I dont feel like talking about right now.. (At least it doesn't have as many shortcomings as the iPhone ;))

Next phone will be the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1

I love Sony Ericssons too much :D

I have a friend who has a storm and isn't that happy with it. I tried it out myself and didn't like it. There is a considerable lag time if the phone is doing a lot of processing. Push a button and nothing happens for a bit. It isn't nearly as intuitive as an iPhone. I personally don't like the feel of the pushable touch screen. If it were me, I would get the Lg dare. I wasn't impressed with this phone. Now if Verizon sold the BB bold...I would probably go with that. YMMV.

Sony Ericsson Z750a ... its just whatever the cheapest that works at the time ... LOL

3G, bluetooth, browser, mp3 player, camera (2MP i think, but the quality isn't that good), and its a phone too ... haha

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1a

Shares the highest res screen wit the HTC Touch HD(800*480) and also watching High quality Videos on youtube is amazing.

Quand band GSM, Tri band 3G what else could you ask for? And also the phone is pure sexay.

nokia e51.

seems like there are no phones made for me.

Rant, stop reading if not interested.

i want it sturdy and easy to use without it beeing a "sporty" model or "cheapo" model. i want it to look and feel like its worth something. no flimsy plastics that creak if i twist it. make it out of metal if neccessary! nokia high end N-series phones some are/were metallic.. but pricing is out of space and they have things i dont want!

no closing lids, no slides, no big screens that scrach easily, bigger buttons instead the big screen. loooong runtime instead of latest video showing capabilities, loong warranty and make them last some abuse like the old models that could be dropped out of speeding car and picked up and dusted and used for years! easy battery off or shutdown (now days u need to press shutdown button with a pen or something similat to get enuff pressure on it or go thru menus.. old days just press release button and battery dropped and phone stops that annoying racket its making.. ie ringing!)

and finally, less buttons! i think i have 31 buttons in my phone and some of those have more functions than 1 in them.. like one by cliking and other by pressing. there is atleast 5-10 buttons that one could live without!

I've got a Blackberry 8310. It is not a cellphone, it is a blackberry device though.

You're saying your 8310 is a Blackberry and not a phone? Its first and foremost a phone, that's its primary function and its in the PDA category not blackberry category that is why its sold by cellphone companies. To top it off your 8310 Curve only has EDGE it doesnt even have 3G so surfin and downloading is so slow.

Surfing and dowloading are taken care of using my Mac machine (macbook pro). 8310 has been very good and reliable for my push email, nothing beats it when it comes to pushing the emails instantly.
