What is this bezel?

It a 27mm bezel for TnC's SF series - in this case, SF does NOT stand for Surefire. It houses an McR-27XR or McR-27L reflector, and requires a light engine, power pack, body and tail cap to make a complete light. All parts - if in stock - are available on the TnC site. donn_ has a complete light with that head for sale, if you want to see pics.

<nitpicker> It's a head, not a bezel. The bezel is just the outermost ring that's intended to hold the glass window in place. </nitpicker>

SureFire calls the "heads" of it's flashlights - "bezels" with what some would call the "bezel" being called a window retaining ring or similar depending on the design for each bezel (or, of each bezel!)
Since this has always been the case I tend to prefer to stick to SureFire terminology to be consistant.

Obviously aftermarket and other brands can call flashlight components anything they want. Even if they are being technically more accurate!

I guess since TnC themselves refers to it as a head, you're right.

I tend to think of it as a bezel, because it doesn't include the light engine, and only serves to hold the reflector in place.
