931 Seems to be whiter than what has been described. blu/wht center with very, very, very faint yellowish, green corona near the outer edges.

I am mightily impressed! It produces more light and a more useful beam pattern than the original bezel/lamp. It produces measurable light from really really "dead" batteries. Now I can really milk those CR123As all the way! LOL!

Mine is suposed to be #348.
If I read the posting correctly, 50 KL-1's have been identified so far.

Got mine
#914 CE and #940 CE. Both Bluish beam.
One is a little brighter than the other.
The brighter one draws more current.
(350ma versus 310ma)
So I think, the difference in current drawn is one of the reason for difference in brightness.
Check yours if you got a multimeter.
Nice light, love it!

A00386........The LED is not very central - points out to one side. The beam is a strange pinky colour. Still very impressive though.
