"What kind of light is this?"

Over the last couple of days, other officers keep asking me, "What kind of light is that?"

My response consists of a deep breath followed by:

"It's part Surefire, part Leef, part Malkoff, running on one protected 18650/168A Wolf Eyes rechargeable battery."

And then they usually do this:

I just say "custom" instead of Surefire/fivemega/DX with a UCL lens running on Solarforce 18650 protected batteries.

I've gone with "custom" a few times too, but then they always ask what I mean or they want to know what kind of custom!

I usually say "it's a little something I pieced together" then I tell them how much I spent and they get quiet real quick LOL

I always get the same response after I give build details, I wait for it.

"I have no idea what any of that means"

Recently I have started telling people that I made it and leave it at that.
