Shoud I just grab 4 sanyo eneloops and a charger pack? Or something else? Where do I go for the bext price?

Are eneloops really going to work that much better than energizer aa's?

How long will they last if always run on high? (l1t 2.0 and L2d rb100)

If you hang around here very long you'll see that the finest batteries are AW Li-Ion rechargable cells. They are more expensive, but cheaper in the long run. I used cheap batteries until I learned my lesson. AW sells protected, extremely high quality batteries in just about any size you could ever need. They are safe, powerful, and have a super long life for many recharge cycles. You can buy the direct from AW in China (on his thread on here) or from LightHound. There are many cheap Li-Ion cells, and you can take your chances, hit or miss, but sooner or later you'll end up with AW's. - Larry

haha. thats funny.

I use AW's little micro setup for my L0D-CE actually...
I was under the impression that using those would kill my ability to change levels on the 2aa lights I got though... This world of lights is all so confusing

It will kill the 2 AA light if you use 2 Li-ion batteries. Eneloops should be fine for you light. They will last longer then Alkaline batteries. With one battery you will loose modes until the battery gets bellow 3.2v.

Runtimes of the L2D-CE.

Any Idea if AW will come out with a 3 Volt so you can use them in single cell lights without loosing the modes?

If you live near a Costco and are a member, go in and get their package of an Eneloop charger, 8xAAs, 4xAAAs, and misc. adapters for larger batteries (useless IMHO...) for about $25. If you're not a member, go find someone who is and ask them to help get you same...
