What SF G2 head is this?

I have what I believe is an older G2 head that does not have the notches on the lens retaining ring. I want to know what version it is, when it came out, and if it's rare. It originally came with a P60 but I threw a P60L on it. The G2 body and tailcap are the same as my G2L (80 lumens). Had given it to my non-flashaholic brother but took it back just in case it's rare or something to keep as a shelf queen. Thanks in advance. I was going to do a search but didnt know what to type in the search engine.

That looks like the new Camo G2 I bought about a year ago.
Some of the new G2's do not have a removable lens retaining ring. :thumbsdow

SureFire did experiment with a non-notched window retaining ring. It didn't last though.

Just to be clear, I wouldn't consider it 'experimental' in a cool, rare way - more like a 'thankfully they quickly realised it was daft idea' kind of way.
