What should I ask for? Say <= $75 ...

As a graduation gift a good friend said he would like to buy me something nice. He knows I like fountain pens, pockets knives, LED flashlights, etc.

I don't actually /need/ any more of those things, at least that's what the wife tells me. ;-)

He has asked me what I would like? Any recommendations? Gadgets, electronics, pocket knives, LED lights, etc., anything else?

Tell him to give you the $75 and go on a shopping spree at CountyComm. You can do a lot with $75 there...

Hard for us to judge what you would like. If nothing else, have them get you 5 of the Fenix E01s in different colors and then give 3 of them back to your friends so they'll remember you. Keep the 2 you like most for yourself. Give one to your future child when he/she graduates from college a few decades hence.

I'd get a black E1e from LAPG, then get a black KX2 or EM-T drop in for it later.

Just use the $75 towards a flashlight u want and pay the rest
i.e. if say you want the SF E1B which is $110, have him put the $75 into your bank account and just pay the other $35.
