What size of M*gLite reflector to buy?

I think the 8.3mm reflectors would work with the WA bulbs (just going by the info in fivemega's FM2 sales thread ... those were available with 8.38mm openings).

With your 15mm reflector, you'll be able to move up to the larger Osram bulbs like 64623. As long as the reflector coating doesn't peel.

I have a pair of KD 8.3's. They are close, but work with ROP and WA bulbs alike. And unlike previous models, the curvature continues all the way to the opening. Looks good and works well.

Does anyone know what size of M*g reflector opening we should order from KD?

Tricky question - I have 4 of the 8.3mm ones and I also have 4 larger opening ones.

Currently I have a total of 7 Maglites and they are all modified. I have 4 ROP mods, 1 LED (Malkoff) and 2 Bi-Pin mods. The ones I use most are the Maglite 2D bodies with 8.3mm opening reflectors and 3853-L, 3854-L & either 3853-H or 3854-H (I only have 3 of the 2D Mags, must buy another one). I really like the size & shape of the 2D Mags - great solid torch with comfortable balance. All 3 of my 2D Mags are using KD Li-ion 32600 cells. The -H bulbs are a bit brighter, but the -L bulbs are more than bright enough for most tasks and have twice the run time.

KiwiMark-

You like the 2D Mags- I like the 3C Mag best. Nice length, room for interesting recipes. I appreciate the info on your bulbs. so many of them to learn about.
