What would something like this cost?

Got a question for you machinists:

I have a bunch of AAA/AA lights (peak and others) that I'm not really using.

What would it cost to make a D-cell body for these light? Let's say a D cell body for the peak matterhorn, that thing will run just about forever on a D-cell and would make a great emergency light and at this light level, heat dissipation should not be a problem at all.

Any thoughts?
