Can't wait for the Quarks
Couldn't agree more. That's why the most obvious candidates for an update are the D10 and the other piston drives. You'd still be adjusting to the same level to suit your task, but have the benefit of longer runtime at whatever level you set. And you'd also have a little more at the top end just in case you need it.What I hope for is the lights offer better runtimes on lower levels rather than the same drivers putting out say 30ish % more light for the same old runtimes.
 I agree with you! In my experience even 50% more lumens is a very little encrease of brightness, while 50% more runtime is a huge pro! What I hope for is the lights offer better runtimes on lower levels rather than the same drivers putting out say 30ish % more light for the same old runtimes. I mean a 100 lumen light putting out 130? So what. But running 30% longer at 100 lumens would be better in my view.

+1 Not to mention that a 30% decrease in the drive current needed to achieve a given level of light will result in an increased runtime of greater than 30%....What I hope for is the lights offer better runtimes on lower levels rather than the same drivers putting out say 30ish % more light for the same old runtimes.
