Hi folks,

I have a 3 of the DX 25500 protected C cells and want to see the discharge data if its out there.

I tested a Mac Customs P7 Nascar Fade and a Electrolumens P7 Mag C drop-in. In both cases I get more way more OTF lumens and current at the tail with the protected DX C cells vs. AW black C cells:whistle:

These cells fit in an unbored Mag-C body, right? How long are they compared to regular alkaline?

They are the same diameter as regular Alkalines so they will fit all Mag "C" size. They are longer thought and you have to modify that spring super short in a 2C combo.

In my 3C Mag I can fit 3 of them, but I have one of those tailcaps designed for the AW C cells.

So they are in between the length of an alkaline and the old black label AW 'c'?

Energizer alkalkine - 49.7mm
AW C - 53.5mm

I had about 4 AW C black cells last week and 3 of these protected DX C cells and all the DX C cells were a bit taller then even the black AW C cells.
