Where to buy UV emitters?

Hi, i was looking for UV emitters, i would like for my next project. However i didn't have enough luck when looking for a place that sells uv emitters. Anyone know a good site?
The host will be probably one of the cheap LuxIII lights at DX or Kai.

First, are you looking for 5mm leds or a high power one? Since you're looking to put it into a 3watt light, I assume a higher power one.

Unless you're really cool and have the hookup for a couple specialty leds of old (I've tried unsuccessfully for a couple years), you're only available option is the Cree 7090series X-lamp 1watt UV.

I've made several lights using them, and have been happy with the amount of light they put out. Assuming you're using a deep reflector--these throws very well. The disdvantage to using them, is the wavelength is about 395 or 400ish nm, which is higher than you can get in 5mm is you search around.

Since my last UV post, several people have hunted me down for my leftover crees, but you can get some at superbrightleds.com for 12 USD plus shipping. If you search using cree xlamp UV, you'll get more hits too.
