Can the BB or MM/MM+ series be used on 6-volts or just the DB?

Hi Ray,

If you are trying to drive a Luxeon I or Luxeon III with 6v, stick with the the DB convertor.

The BB can be used with 6v if you are driving a 5-watt Luxeon.

BB with LuxV on 2x123 definitely works fine.
MM I dunno.
BB with LuxIII on 2x123 will smoke something.
For LuxV on 3x123 you need a DB.

okay, I'm going to do this exact thing now. 2 x 123s for a 5W. The 700mA BB is out of stock, so I'm assuming I'll have to get one of the "no sense resistor" ones and order the right resistors? Which resistors am I supposed to pick? What if I want some overdrive to the 5W as well?
