I'm thinking of adding a Surefire particularly a 6P LED to my collection and would like help here on who offers the best deal for Surefire torches. I really like the 6P LED and personally think it's one of their best torch lights.

Ebay... $42 shipped and add whatever drop-in you like. Start with a $10 DX and scale up from there. You'll spend a little less than a P60L and get more light+throw from the start.

Thats what I'm doing. Started out just using the Xenon P60 with primaries, bumped that to a DX 6090+RCR123s. Now I have a DX R2 11836 drop in on the way and am thinking about a SF diffuser lens. Nice thing about the 6P is it can be upgraded any which-way.

Dealers are forced to sell at MAP, so you won't see much price difference there. You might find some dealers with free shipping or batteries.

If its a user you can often find great deals on used at CPF Marketplace.

All of my Surefires are either from eBay or BST. Prices (delivered) are similar on both.

I would prefer the 6P LED
I had the 6P LED but found the color temp to be really cool, quite blue. Others have mentioned this also, and it seems to be common. Both my 6P's got the Malkoff M60, both my G2's got the Malkoff M60LL. The Malkoff drop ins produce a superb beam with warm color temp.

Texas Tactical Supply had great SF deals but what happened to them? Their website doesn't work.

Botach has a great deal on the G2 but they want over $9.00 in shipping in handling so that kills the deal.

Which dealers on this site offer discounts on SF for candlepowerforum members?

CPF member brightspot, I reckon his prices and personal service is hard to beat! He quotes very fair international shipping to Australia and he ships FAST!

SureFire cracked down on dealers giving discounts on their lights. Every dealer has to charge MSRP or they might not be selling SF lights anymore.

What some dealers do is add specials to the SF lights like extra batteries to give you more of a "bargain".

I dont think any do, at least not for surefire. SF does this to protect brick / mortar retailers... mom/pop shops if you will.

You should also consider places like battery junction (for example) that gives free shipping and extra batteries. BJ is not the only place to include extra 123 cells with your purchase.

Where did CPF member brightspot go? Any one have his email?
