The new P100 EagleTac lights look nice, but why no single cell versions yet? I thought I would give them some time, figuring they would be announced a few days or a week after the A2 & C2 versions, bu tno luck yet.
These would make very nice small lights with the smaller reflector allowed by the smaller emitter. And warm versions of course - no warm versions of the single cell P10C/P10A/T10C, etc were released, so I'm worried I may never get an EagleTac.

I have been wondering this also. However, Eagletac has been releasing a lot of models recently, so they might just be too busy to do everything right now.
Single cell XP-E lights would probably be very popular.

It would drive their sales off the scales!!!!

A light for everyone! Awesome!!

I've heard some rumors that they are working on an EDC of sorts. I wouldn't give it any credibility until a much more official announcement rolls through but it wouldn't surprise me much.

I'm waiting on more info for the Tactical-RGB though. That one looks like it'll be a nice contender for certain, even with its 18650 format.

Constructive critic here, I hope they buck up on certain things, namely HA quality, waterproofing, LED centralizing and meeting deadlines.

The anodizing is fine on their more expensive lights (the "10" series). It seems like the wear is mostly on the cheap 100 series lights, which honestly are such a good value that the anodizing is forgivable. Most lights that ptice only have type II anodizing anyway.

I do expect they are working on new single cell lights - or at least hope. Does anyone know how single cell lights sell versus the larger versions? I personally prefer EDC sized lights.
They have released a lot lately, but I figured if they were going to release single cell versions of the P100's they would come out very soon after the bigger ones. Maybe they are making them a different style or with different circuits? If so, then I actually think the goal is to make them better and/or more flexible EDC's with more than two levels and different UI suited to smaller lights, which will make them worth the wait.

No please.. The current UI is the bomb. If ET wants to upgrade the UI, I suggest updating the 10 series. 100's UI suits beginners so well that it's scary.

I think the UI on the 10 series is probably more reliable, since there are fewer parts to break on the light. I agree that loosening the head is the best way to change modes, even on a small light (other than a selector ring).
