I thought I'd just throw this one out there since my research has turned up very little. Does anyone know of any optics or reflectors that would give the xpg/xpe a nice wide flood beam? The widest FWHM that I've seen made for these is in the 30ish range which is generally wide but I'm talking really wide. The Ledil Boom SS for the P7 is getting near what I'm thinking in terms of beam. How might this reflector work with the Cree XP's?
Also, the bare LED beam is pretty nice but not really controlled enough. I guess what I need is a reflector that modifies the beam only slightly to just control it a bit and avoid useless side spill. Any ideas? We all want the perfect beam for our application right?
