Will AW 14500 fit U.Fire C3 or Rexlight?

Hi,
Anybody have experience with Ultrafire C3s, using AW's protected cells?
The C3 is designed to take (presumably the unprotected 900mAh) ultrafire LIR 14500 cells, however these are literally speaking "14480" cells. I haven't been able to access AW's battery sales thread recently, but I suspect that the protection circuit may take them slightly over a normal 14500 length.
As far as I've seen, Rexlights haven't quite arrived yet, I'm also considering them, so anybody who bought one - Do AW's cells fit?

AWs protected 14500 don't fit in my ultrafire WF602A1 I got from DX a few weeks ago. don't know about the C3 but the body looks the same.

Bought a couple rexlights... some people are getting shipping notices today. No one has actually received their rexlight from Kai yet.

states that it can accept a 14500. So we'd assume that an AW 14500 will fit, but no guarantees. Wait about 10 days and I'm sure we'll hear about it.
