Will Nailbender's P60 fit Malkoff MD body?

Anyone know if Nailbender's P60 drop ins will fit Gene Malkoff's MD series of flashlight bodies?

I'm trying to build a 2 x 123 light for a non flashaholic friend and Gene's body with a P60 seems to be about as economical and newbie friendly as it goes.

I tried this with my MD2 and variuous dropins including a couple different nailbenders and NO, they will not fit. Gotta use a Malkoff dropin.
