Wilora 1075 Scandi ( $46.99 Oz to my door )
60/55HRC ( 60HRC file bites / 55HRC file skates )
Factory edge lightly leather stropped = 250 slice fail ( apex deformation )
Re sharpened 600 / 1000 / 2000 / 3000 grit on diamond plates = 450 slice fail ( apex deformation ) Quick N dirty wood strop had the knife slicing paper again . Didn't put in a lot of effort . Maybe 10 minutes on the diamond plates !

Factory sheath is ? Nylon ( bla bla ) ... I had a spare sheath ( yay ) , so the knife has a new home !
Grips were too squarish , so rounded off ! Much more comfortable now , also re finished . Spine was put on the bench grinder and scrapes wood ferro really well now ! I have a bushcrafty knife I can live with .

I’ve seen this brand a bit on Amazon.com.au and wondered what it is like. 450 is respectable but you might as well get the Flissa 9. I just bought a Sitivien st26 from US Amazon for $95aud n690 which is pretty decent. It seems pretty thick so it might get me through the pine kindling sticks this Winter for the fire heater.

Flissa 9 = I have 3 ... Buying a 4th ............... would be ............. ?
I bough the Wilora cos it was on FeeBay , so something to test . ( Why I buy knives )
If I stop testing them , ill stop buying them . I have more than enough as it is . ( I don't sell knives )

Yeah I know you have Flissa’s, the comment wasn’t really suggesting you personally get a Flissa instead. It’s just what I would choose if comparing something of around the same price.

Yeah , the Flissa is a viable option well over $100 bananas ...

If I was starting fresh ( no knives ) The Flissa would be at the top of the To Buy List . ( For Scandi )

I'm a little surprised there is so little FanBoy hoopla for the Flissa .. ( Flissa 9 )

Was even trying to get DBK to do a Flissa 9 review .. ?? Maybe the Flissa is too good ??

GideonTactical YouTube, did a pretty good review of it. Brother Scandi's seem to get the attention, but Flissa seems to do better with their d2.
