Hello all,

Last week i visited the Israeli Defense Show. WiseLed was there I had the pleasure of speaking with Mr. Poul-Eric, Wise Led's Country Manager, very kind guy. I think he wasn't expecting to meet a CPF member there He came with several demo kits packed in Pelican & Storm cases... I was excited hehehehe.

Anyhow i think he had a new version of the Tactical 1500... It was called Proline... the head of the light is detachable from the batt pack.... it isn't watter sealed as the 1500 but the Batt pack has some electronics which can sense any "head" and adjust it for optimum run time and power. From what i have understood the "head" transmit data of heat, head type, current draw etc. to the pack. the pack has only one connector so when the head is in place you don't have the auxiliary at the bottom like the original 1500.

so with the new battery packs (like with the Proline light) you still have to charge them the same as the older models or are the batteries removable from the pack?

The same way, just with the Proline, as far as i noticed, you have to remove the head and charge it.

I was going to get the the upgrade on my tactical to make it a 1500 because for this month they are offering 25% off everything from their store but when I got wind of some new products I thought I might hold out to see if they offer some new tactical that you could change the batteries yourself - any way they are a killer light!!:twothumbs

The Proline doesn't have more Lumens... the head looks different... it has ribes around it for heat dispersion.

For what are you using the light? Do you have a holster for it?

no holster just a lanyard - i use it for the security industry i work in - hit someone with it and they don't get up or just shining it at them stuns them enough :naughty: they are real work horse's - discount code is SC200809 - but its only valid for this month they sent it in a email as an existing customer - go for it :twothumbs.
