Wowed everyone with a WF-600 last night

Hey guys, so last night I was out with a bunch of friends and had brought my WF-600 along to test that night. I switched the driver out with one that drove the LED at 1A and centered the emitter recently. Well, my friends are usually not that impressed by my flashlights and thought that it was a dumb obsession but not after last night. I took it out to test it and it shot a beam into the sky and lit up buildings that were hundreds of meters away. They were absolutely impressed on how a flashlight could do such a thing. Needless to say, that made my day.

I can't wait to bring my Mag275 (2x Li-Ion D) out on Halloween night. I'm dying to hear what the other dads have to say. Hopefully I'll get a similar response.

Where did you get the Li ion D cells. How do they perform?
