XP-E LED a good swap in for Osram Golden Dragon? (yuk green)

I'm considering pulling out an Osram Golden Dragon emitter and putting in a Cree XP-E R2 or the best bin XP-E I can find. It seems that after 3 puke :green: green Ra Clicky's that I'm going to go broke before I find one that is reasonably white so I'd like to try modding it with a high efficiency easy swap in emitter. It looks to me that these two emitters have a reasonably similar profile so I'm wondering if anyone has made a swap in any light which had an Osram Golden Dragon and put in an XP-E with fair success. I'm wondering if the reflector will work as is and how the Vf compares. I know I can look up the Vf's but if anyone has this info from doing swaps I'd appreciate hearing your opinion.

Also interested if anyone has done any emitter swaps on the Ra Clicky as I don't recall seeing any threads on this. TIA for any help on this.
