XP-E or XR-E with aspheric lens?

I'm a bit confused. Wich one will work best?
I read somewhere that as the XP-E is smaller would do better, but his angle is bigger (110 degrees I think) than XR-E, so the same aspheric lens would collect less light.
Does enyone knows it?

XR-E is better.

xp-e would provide better throw in a reflectored setup if the reflector was designed off of a point-source. xr-e is better for aspherics. Saabluster would know. check out the DEFT link in his signature ;-)
