WOW!! :grin2:

So far the XP-G has done excellent with the McR38, IMS27, TIR optic from the E2DL and now the McR20S reflectors!:party:

BUT the McR20S is SOOOO smooth with such a nice hot-spot!!...probably my favorite thus far.:faint:...Very Bright!!😎

Here is the XP-G R5 in the Aleph 2 head using the McR20S reflector.

I tried the Mcr19XR, but it didn't play well, and I don't want to modify the McR19XR to test it...I'll leave that to someone else.😀

WoW! nice... Any chance you've got a khatod 20mm smooth lying around to test? Dude Dafab, you are seriously the man for testing all these setups.

Thanks all!

RyanA, I don't have a khatod 20mm smooth, just the McR20S.

I just got back from a nice cold walk up to the the local store and was able to use this light the whole time!😀

I'll repeat myself...WOW!!😱oo::huh::faint:😀

This lil guy has jumped to the front of the pack for favorite small EDC!
It's simply amazing the amount of light this sucker puts out and the throw is insane & the spill is excellent!!!:twothumbs:party:

I had it on an E2e body with an AW 17670.
Now it is on an E1e running an AW IMR 16430.
The XP-G pairs up with the McR20S so well you'de think it was made for it!

These XP-G's are pretty darn cool especially given how freakin small they are!:naughty:😱😎:hitit:

Thanks for the tip, Will. It works!

I sent away a Cree GDuP and had the XR-E Q4 replaced with an XP-G R4. I tried it in several Alephs, and was most pleased with Mule and Aleph 2, but now that I added a spacer washer between the McR19XR and the LE, the beam is properly focused, and better than in the McR20. :twothumbs

McMaster Carr: 95601A335 Red Insulating Hard Fiber Flat Washer 1/32" Thick, 3/8" Screw Size, 5/8" OD.

It fits the top of the LE perfectly, and bridges the LED wires and solder, so it not only backs the LE away from the reflector, but insulates as well.
