Just a bit of warning. It is not safe to mail LEDs in a regular envelope. Not sure how the postal system works in Australia but standard envelopes go through sorting machines in the US & the rollers will almost always damage them. When I received the envelope I thought for sure they were damaged as I could see the dome impressions on the outside of the envelope. Luckily they somehow survived. First time I've ever received parts in a standard envelope that did not get damaged.

man,you are lucky.i have the same exact experience with DX/KD and the return RMA took almost 2 months :sick2: and they never border to listen to their customers despite numerous complaint with photos and suggestions.

. Looks like I'd better use a custom's form next time. Also did you see printing of led domes on the paper? Did the bubble wrap get squashed?

The domes punctured the paper & the bubble wrap was all flat. Don't think a customs form wouldn't be any different, it will still go through the presort machine if it's a regular envelope. It needs to be mailed as a "package" & not a letter. Had these beed XR-Es for sure the domes would have been gonner. Just wanted to let you know before anyone else's LEDs might get steam rolled.

Nanotech, I can understnad that being very frustrating fighting that especially with DX/KD. When a seller does not assume responsibility for lost or damaged packages I can understand but I expect the shipper to pack the items appropiately to prevent damage or it's their fault & not the shipping courrier. Sometimes DX/KD ship items well packed, sometimes no.
