That was to the point where it dropped to 0 for a couple seconds, so it actually puts out useful light for a bit longer than that. Total useful output is probably about 3 days 6 hours, but it'd have to be pitch black at the very end. That's pretty insane runtime. :huh:

Thanks for your time and effort here and for sharing the results! :thumbsup:

All of the Ti lights using the Cree or Seoul have been host to the GDx2 driver. It has an efficiency edge over the Wiz2x2 driver I believe but the only way to know for sure would be to couple both drivers to the same LED and power source and make some evaluations. Moving forward to the future, since the GDx2 has superceeded the Wiz2x2, the point is really moot.

As these LED's become more and more efficient, the role of the converters and their inherent "overhead" may fall under heavier scrutiny when they are tasked with driving the LED at low drive levels.
