You go through a rack of flashlights at Walmart just to see how many have centered emiters. Just because....
Well, when I was an amateur I'd use 1 or 2 Post-Its for the body, 1 for the head, and ABC gum to connect the head to the body. It was somewhat satisfying, but it definately left room for improvement.Could you please explain this process? lol

Now I search for all the photos I can find on the model I want, save them to a folder, and use Photoshop to resize them for 1:1 scale printouts on thick matte paper. The body and head patterns are duplicated enough times to cover the full 360° when rolled up. Then I tape them together and use double-face foam tape to connect the head to the body. The business end and switch are taped on after making relief cuts so the tape doesn't bunch up on the corners. The end result is much more satisfying, but I still feel shallow and empty until my package arrives.

You buy a cellphone or knife holster because it's about the right size to carry extra batteries in.
the only time you are more than arms reach from a light, is when you are in the shower.
...you actually have a flashlight capable of projecting the bat signal on low level cloud formations.
If you get a dog for the only purpose to use your flashlights outside without beeing considered as a suspicious figure...
You have ever looked at a Chapstick tube and thought "I wonder if that would make a good host".
You wonder if you toss the silverware into a box on the kitchen floor if the silverware draws could hold all your flashlights.
