Hello,

Three Questions:

1. Can this tester test primary Lithium AA (Energizer L91)?

2. I have a Surefire M6. Is it safe to test only one battery a couple times or should I really test all batteries to keep them equal?

3. For the M6 above, is it safe on the light/bulb to run the batteries down to <20%?

Hello wmugrad28.

1. According to the manual it is not possible to use the Mini-MBT9R tester with Lithium AA L91.

I don't have this tester so maybe those who have it could correct me if i'm wrong.

The MBT-1 can test this cell.

2. The reason for buying this kind of test equipment is to test every cell, particularly CR123 cells in lights that can handle more than one of those cells.

However, the Mini-MBT9R you are asking about isn't capable to test CR123 cells (123A), according the manual.

Anders,

You are correct, my apologies! I wrote down the wrong number when looking it up. I have the Mini-MBT.
