No one mentionned anything about the new PWM rate ? How is it ? Has it been greatly improved because the old one was strobing a lot.

Concerning the PWM:
I've read of frequencies between 1200 and 1600 Hz.
From my impression I'd lean more towards 1200Hz. You can see it flickering if you really try but I don't think you will have a problem with it anymore. The L0D was really awfull in that regard...

A less scientific and more colorful illustration of the difference between the LD01 and the L0D.
I moved both lights as fast as I could in front of my camera while holding and operating the camera with the other hand.
Both lights were switched to medium setting.
The L0D is always the upper dashed trace.
