Old KL3 on E1L body???

If I use RCR123 and E2C adapter for my E1L body, is it possible to turn on the old version SF KL3?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the KL3 run from 6v to 9v?

Surefire's KL3 page still features the old model KL3. I don't know if the specs are for the old model, but yes, they do say that the head is for the 6v to 9v configurations.

It won't hurt anything to run a KL3 at 3.7 volts. The KL3 uses a buck circuit.

I should work OK. I'm not sure about runtime.

If you have the parts, give it a try. I wouldn't spend any money to build it.
