I signed up last week, and still don't know if I chose the best plan.
I've been on most of my meds for years. Many were the result of trial and error, dealing with side effects and price. Now it appears, with the plans formulary, and it's rules, I will have to go through the process all over again. My poor doctor is going to have to do a lot of extra paperwork (exceptions), to get me the best results. Hope she is willing to do it, and has the time. Two of my meds are STEP drugs on the formulary, two are not generic, and two aren't on the formulary at all. These are all critical meds. I don't want to go through the side effects of the wrong drugs again, just to satisfy some clerk at the insurer's office.
Anyone else here having second thoughts about the new Medicare Drug Plan?
