4 D nimh on DD tripple lux safe?

i have a 3 luxIII modded mag running DD on 3 D cells Alkaline (4.5V).

wired in parallel

bin codes are TW0K

can 4 D's be safely used? (4.8V)

No! Use 3 D NiMH and it will be PERFECT!!

The 3 alkalines are sagging, but if you use 3 NiMH you will have the perfect match. K bin and NiMH work great. It will drive them at an amp each off the charger, and if they've been setting then it will be a little less, but always more than 700ma!
