Surefire KL1, KL4-BK?

Did surefire ever make a KL1 (anystyle) or KL4 led bezel in BK?

I bought one of the A2-BK lights awhile back from a over sea's dealer and I thought he had some, but I can not find them anymore.

Were there ever any made?

The KL1 is available in black HAIII finish, packaged in plastic bag instead of blistered pkg. I'm not sure if the same applies to the KL4.

AFAIK the black HAIII models are rare, more popular and thus quite hard to find.

Try "Oso Grande Knife & Tool Company" or "Ira Wood & Son" both show KL4 in BLK.

Those black L4's are actually made by combining a "Scout Light" head (black KL4), and the body and tailcap of an E2D - it's not a "normal" production item, from what I understand.

I haven't, but I did call Oso Grande, it was a special order item requiring 1-2 weeks to arrive!
