I saw the fenix P1 description and release date on fenixlight.com. It's a 3w 1xcr123 light coming out in april. It's advertised as 55 lumens, so using the results from their previous lights (at flashlight reviews) I'd guess it's going to score around 23 or 24 on the flashlight reviews overall output o-meter (frooom). which is almost as bright as most 2*cr123 LED lights (but with a little less runtime).
Overall I'd say the P1 isn't anything to get too excited about, but I think it's April release means that the P2 is not far behind, and that will make a nice competitor in the tactical style led market. I can't wait for that (so I can replace my scorpion led with a nice light that doesn't have an annoying rubber boot, and doesn't cost as much as a SF).
