Directions to basic info wanted

G'day,
I have a Longbow Micra that I would like to mod--brighter with at least 3 brightness levels.
1 I don't know if it is even possible.
2 I don't know what to order.
3 Where can I find info on converters, buck-boost, sandwiches, flupics, etc--I don't even know the basic terminology.

i would browse the sandwich shoppe.. there is a link in the dealers corner i think... I'm not familiar at all with the longbow.. if it's a twistie.. i have the tech to convert to 3-level. I use LDO drivers so you have to be able to fit a LiON solution in there for my driver.

Have you looked into goldserve's FluPIC boards? They run off 1xli-ion battery and he has several sizes (including "standard" sammie size, which IIRC, fits into an e-can, which in turn can be used for a Longbow mod). Sorry, rusty memory, haven't kept up with those lights...
