Re: Custom K2 Powered Mag

Runtime on Low should be around 20 hours
Runtime on High should be around 2 hours.

As for brightness I will put it on my meter tonight but I'm guessing around 9000 Lux.

Re: *SOLD* Custom K2 Powered Mag

I saw this when it was first listed and I had to control myself. If I didn't just have to pay for a stupid root canal, I would have been all over this baby in a second. I don't know which hurt more the root canal, or not being able to afford the custom K2 mag :) Mac makes some of the most beautiful and functional Mods I have ever seen. I'm saving my pennies, Mac! Beautiful work, just beautiful!

Nice Lights!! Are these going to be limited or are there going to be more so i can wait? Thanks.

I'm not sure I'm just trying to get rid of some of my extra parts.

that thing is really really REALLY short!

nice job as always Mac!

You should be making 'cell extenders' from the parts you cut off.. just a bit added to the end of a light can mean 13 vs 12 cells of GP2000.. killer DD of the 623 lamp!

dual 18560s.. nice.. do you have a pic of the bat. solution? how'd you get 1.2A from 3.6V? I was guessing you had 4xAA NIMH solution.. K2s love to have higher voltage.

I love LION bats.. very nice to see some K2 solutions hitting the market and i always love to see mac selling modified maglites that don't use the stock switch.. (ulterior motives).

I love mine has great throw, and really compact size.
Got a chance to try this evening.
Did I mention build quality is impeccable.
You won't regret it.

It is non regulated and the discharge of lithium-Ion cells is flat so it does not dimm rapidly.

Ordered one last week and I'm waiting for it to arrive.

In the meantime, XFlash have you done any runtime tests? Are you using protected 18650's? Would love to hear any more impressions you have of this light.

Thanks,
Bill
