Surefire rechargable batteries

Hi,
I want to give my dad a Surefire flashlight as a gift. However, the place he lives doesn't appear to have CR123s. I want to buy him an L4 or maybe a Kroma if I'm lucky, plus a rechargable battery pack. Question: Can Surefire rechargable battery packs work with L4 or Kroma?

Surefire battery packs do not work with L4 or Kroma. One battery pack, a B90, willl work with the L7. Lithium Ion batteries such as a 17650, or 17670 willl work with with the L4, and possibly the Kroma.
