Vf for DD trilux

Hi, can anyone give me the best Vf for a Direct Drive Trilux. I will be using a 2-D host with 3c alkaline cells or I may decide to build it for 2x 18650 Protected cells. I will have to weigh the run time, brightness options before selecting which light to build, but need to know what stars to start looking for.

Van1, I just did a 3D DD Tri-lux(star) (whatever). I used 3 TYOH in parallel. On alkalines it only draws 2.2 amps. On Nimhs it draws 3.3 amps(now that's more like it !). It is freekin bright !
