Minimag LED and IQ-Switch

It will work if you stretch out the spring so that it makes contact with the negative pole of the battery. The threads on the MiniMag LED are the same as the MiniMag, but they are longer on the MiniMag LED. Before you consider using this switch, you might want to take a look at the review of the IQ switch over at flashlightreview first. Losing about half the output is a pretty costly tradeoff, and I'd be inclined to pass on the IQ switch myself.

Yeah, but that may have been a fluke, as others have tried it without harm and were just disappointed at the big reduction in output. In either case it's probably not a worthy candidate. Personally I've been relatively happy with a Kroll switch, not having any desire for reduced, partial, or variable, output levels.

I have the plain on off switch an it worked once. The button rattles and is too light to the touch imo. Nice idea but if you have to twist the head anyway...
